Robin Bairstow was appointed CEO of I&M Bank Spain in October 2023, bringing over 30 years of senior banking experience across Africa and Asia. He previously served as CEO of I&M Bank Rwanda for 8 years, where his leadership contributed to significant growth, including tripling the bank’s assets and boosting pre-tax profits. His tenure also saw I&M Bank Rwanda’s successful listing on the Rwanda Stock Exchange in 2017.

Robin’s career in banking includes senior roles at major institutions such as Standard Chartered Bank, Citibank, and ABSA. With a strong educational background, including a Diploma in Business Administration from the University of Leicester, his vast experience and dynamic leadership are expected to drive I&M Bank Spain to greater success.
